I ordered this about a month ago and have used it 5-6 times so far. I bought it mostly to make baby food and smoothies, and it is great for both. I like that it's glass, because I'm trying to keep plastic out of the kitchen. The only real complaint I have is that the cord is very short and I have to move things around on the counter to use it because of this. Overall, I like the blender a lot, and hope it lasts a long time.

I had an older Oster blender with a plastic jar that lasted through heavy usage the past 4 years. But I wanted one with a glass jar for better cleaning and this model is great. It quickly and effectively handles ice cubes and frozen fruit for smoothies. Glad I made the purchase.

Oster 12 Speed Blender with Glass Jar, I got this Blender over two years ago and it served me very well, I was careless and broke the Glass Jar as I was washing it, I went to find one just like it, and I did, not realizing I could just have bought what they call the Clover Leaf Glass Blender Jar that fits Oster Blenders, no wonder I couldn't find a Glass Jar for my specific Blender model, this Clover Leaf fits all.
Now I have two motors, two lids...two of everything, and just one Glass Jar, I don't mind, I like this blender a lot, it crushes ice like nothing and you don't end up with little pieces of this or that, it makes everything very smooth and without a lot of noise, unlike a Blender I used to have years ago. I use it everyday and did not pay that much for it, it should last me a very long time with all the spare parts. Now I am very careful when I wash the Glass Jar, but even if it breaks I'll know what to get next! Thank You
